Preserve your family movies, 8mm reels, Super 8 and VCR tapes etc.
by having them converted into DVDs. A great, fun surprise gift for
Christmas, birthdays, weddings, etc.
Video tape and 8mm tape shelf life is only 20 to 30
years before permanent damage and total loss of footage dependent
upon storage conditions. DVD shelf life is
estimated to be more than 60 years. Convert now, before
losing your tape quality for ever.
Drop off your valuable family movies or call
for Local pick-up and delivery availability. Don't mail
them to an out of the country
stranger, so you can receive someone else's movies back. For a
travel time fee we can even do the transfer work from your home, thus your
valuable family movies never leave your possession. Please call for more

Your project includes a DVD menu
with up to six chapters
per DVD with lead-in and fade-out music. The chapters on your menu
page are set to around ten minutes per chapter with picture
thumbnails from your footage to assist in navigating your DVD.

You also get a custom
DVD label created from an opening scene of your footage. Usually we do not
watch your movie per say, but we shall edit out blue screens, the
grass or sky and dead film areas where
obvious.

Average cost of $25.00 per
60 minutes (for maximum quality) per completed
DVD. Average time to complete a 60 minute DVD from a
super 8 is approximately 4 hours.
This is a
great price compared to a flat basic transfer with no menu.
Additional DVD
movie copies
$5.00
each if ordered at the time of transfer.
We do not keep a copy of your DVD to make future copies from. For
your convenience we shall keep a copy of your disc label for a short
time period. Stick-on disc labels come with two labels per page at
$2.50 per page plus $2.95 for shipping.
Optional DVD CASES:
Standard size DVD case with your custom cover. We create a cover
for your DVD which matches your custom label on the front of the DVD. You
enter any information you see fit and the descriptions of your chapters with
thumb nails on the back cover. All for just $15.00 per first DVD case.
Duplicate DVD cases $5.00 each. DVD cases for two discs add $3.00 per case.
Future copies or
copies of a Non-copyrighted
DVD: $10.00 for each first copy
and $5.00 per copy following.
Stop Motion Capture
We have the capability to
create a printable still picture from your video footage. Most
pictures taken this way require some touch-up time. Call for
explanation of the process and details.
PRICES
No
standardized price sheet shall be posted. Each project is customized to your
individual tastes and needs with an agreed upon written agreement before we
proceed. We even give you our address as well founded legitimate businesses
do.
Movie Editing
You be the director, as together we edit your
film footage into a professional looking movie. A little creativity
will make your family movies look wonderful. We can do editing work in the comfort of your own home.
Surprise your loved one with a birthday or wedding montage of
childhood memories. DVD case included.
School Plays and Sporting
events, Weddings and Church Productions are among the special events we have
edited from customer footage.
Base rate of $25.00 per hour.
Photo Album Slide Shows
We can scan nearly two hundred personal photos
from your album into a DVD disc and we can produce a slide show movie with
.mp3 or .wav music you provide to create a wonderful DVD, viewable from any
standard DVD player. If you have your pictures on disc already, the
formatting is easier. Call to discuss the estimated time involved
and pricing.
You may help. We can bring the scanner to your
home and you can help with the scanning process so your valuable
family pictures never leave your home and the cost of scanning
becomes less with the aide of your labor. DVD case optional.
Base rate of $25.00 per hour.
Convert from Slides to DVD
Convert straight from a slide directly to CD
for .45 cents per slide (minimum of ten slides) or to a DVD slide
show played on your computer or TV, all without
making costly prints. Plus return shipping and handling of $4.50.
You can have your narration of the slide show burned onto the disk
for $4.00. Contact us for details.
Convert from Film Negatives to DVD
Convert from film negatives directly to CD and/or DVD without making a print.
Delivery Tips
Please label your project materials with
permanent marker. Place tape or sticky note as to date of film and special titles like "Marty's Wedding" etc.. Number the tapes in order to be placed on DVDs. Two thirty minute tapes can be placed on one DVD.
Extra notes, cassettes and film reels can be placed in a plastic zipper bag.
One zipper bag per tape or role of film. The more organized your materials
are when we receive them the better quality product we can produce for you.
Place all
of your project materials in a large paper grocery sack with a copy of this "WORK ORDER". With a bold marker write your name address and phone number on the sac and include a third party contact and number on the sack. Print
plainly. Inside place a document with the same address information and a
description of the work you wish performed. Place completed sac in a box for delivery.

Do to the
nature of old and fragile tapes, RMC Publishing and Productions or
representatives shall not be
liable nor warranty any tape, film, negative, slide or footage submitted to
RMC Publishing and Productions for damage or repairs, resulting from shipping, or handling, or while
attempting to perform a transfer process. Old film stock that breaks upon playing may
need to be professionally reconditioned before transfer can be completed.
Minor film breakage may be repaired in house, sometimes at an extra
cost. Sender of the tapes shall be notified upon inspection of arriving
shipment if obvious weaknesses and high risks may be involved before
transfer attempts are made.
